General Requirements:
1. Minimum bachelor degree in engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Structural, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and working experience (as above) in EPC Offshore / Onshore Oil and Gas Projects – any one static and Rotating equipments, Electrical, Structural, Piping, Fittings & Valves, Instrumentation procurement disciplines.
2. Having experiences 2 – 15 years in the similar position and preferred in Oil and Gas Company.
3. Strong Commercial business sense, cost awareness and contract management
4. Worldwide vendors sourcing, procurement planning strategy, commercial evaluation / negotiation and procurement finalization of long equipments and bulk materials
5. Coordination of all traffic activities to meet procurement plan dates
6. Leading & Coordinating Commercial Negotiations & Negotiation Strategies
7. Expediting of purchase orders / contracts
8. Conversant in English communication both written and spoken
9. Familiar with QA/QC procedures, ISO and Quality Management System
10. Co ordination for inspections & logistics of equipments and bulk materials
11. Computer literacy and project management software using skills
12. Proactive, Strategic thinker with Analytical skills.
13. Decision Maker with demonstrated Leadership and outstanding Communication Skills.
14. Ability to accomplish numerous tasks simultaneously under pressure
15. Problem identification & initiating changes to full implementation
16. Good leadership, inter-personnel relation and management skill.
17. Prepare financial forecasts
18. Procurement using Reverse auction On-line bidding
19. Monitoring Vendor’s Performance in terms of Safety, Progress, Schedule, Costs, Quality, tax Liability, and other contractual Compliance Issues
20. Make timely Settlement of any claims disputes.
