Quality Manager
The Job:
· Maintenance of Integrated Management System (IMS) across the entire project to meet the project mandates.
· Ensuring that all project personnel work within the project IMS. If applicable, in alignment with the International Standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004
· Must be familiar with engineering codes of practice and standards, which are commonly used in the Oil and Gas Industry, such as: API, ASME, ASTM,ANSI, BS, ISO, ISA, IEC, NACE etc..
· Converting Quality Policy to practice, by getting into the hearts and minds of the AMEC personnel through leadership across the project.
· Ensuring that the organisation, regardless of business location ( Sakhalin Island, Russia and the UK) always works in accordance with local and international legislation with regard to the Quality objectives of the project.
· Responsible to ensure that the project reports to all stakeholders, including AMEC corporate, with regard to Quality performance.
· To be able to provide information to the project management with regards to outputs from the Quality Assurance programme, such as audit findings, corrective actions, quality trends etc.. to allow management to make informed decisions for good of the project.
The Requirement:
· Industry knowledge with regard to QA, experience in Engineering Oil and Gas environment would be preferable
· Management Systems (General and industry specific)
· International Standards expertise, theory and implementation
· Familiarisation with engineering codes of practice and standards
· Auditing skills
· Report writing
· People / relationship management, every level of the organization
· Process mapping and system creation expertise
· Quality Assurance Expertise
· Communication and presentation skills
